For me, once I have established a brief, the next step involves assembling a set of likely images and seeing how they work together.
The first idea I had was to locate pictures relating to the various track titles: gods or their tokens, landscape and so on; and layer and blend them. I found images, plonked them down in layers, and started applying filters and blends.
I've put together a page with some snapshots from the planning stage, and discussion
